Gioca addosso al difensore,pur giocando in allontamento quasi sempre dal canestro prende botte a tutto spiano senza mai tirarsi indietro e inoltre cattura 9rimbalzi e mezzo a partita nonostate non sia proprio un altleta.
Bargnani piu alto piu cordinato e piu atleta è una donna in confronto al tedesco.

Ciao a tutti mi sono appena iscritto al forum,siccome non sono un un mostro d'inglese chi mi puo dire cosa a detto triano di bargnani in questa intervista?

Jay Triano would rather not call a play on every Raptor possession but when he does, it's with a good reason: If his players won't be aggressive, he'll put them in a position where they have to be.

And that goes especially for his centres and power forwards.

"Almost every play we diagram is something where guys are going to the basket, (to) try to create some points going to the basket, see if we can get (out opponents) in foul trouble," the Raptors coach said yesterday. "We started off the (New Jersey) game doing extremely well. First play of the game was a foul, went to the basket, we moved the ball and we shared it."

Triano's philosophy is to hopefully let his players figure things out rather than micromanage every possession.

"The one thing we've talked about is there are so many timeouts in an NBA game and if you draw up two plays every time there's a timeout, and every time there's a quarter break, that's enough calls for the coach," he said. "The rest should be in offensive flow and see what you can get out of it."

Even with the plays scripted – and disguised as calls like "first play" or "second play" there are still times when the Raptors have to figure things out on their own.

"We've done three," the coach said. "It's not a secret, there are counters, you'll draw one and you hope that they follow that one and you'll have a counter to it if they try to cheat the first play and come back with a second one. These are things we've collected over the years, that we've seen other teams do. Some coaches are excellent at it and we've stolen a lot of their plays."

The need to instill some aggression becomes acute when it comes to backup big man Andrea Bargnani. With his outside shot not falling at the moment – he's shooting under 25 per cent from three-point range over the last six games – the coach wants him attacking the basket to get some easier looks.

Bargnani seems to be a player who thrives on getting quick touches and scoring opportunities almost the moment he enters a game and Triano is willing to give him that opportunity.

"When he comes in the game, we want to get him a touch, we don't want his first shot to be a touch and a quick shot," said the coach. "If we can get something going to the basket, build confidence, get to the free-throw line.

"I always thought getting to the free-throw line and taking two free throws is a good way to build confidence and a touch of the basketball."

Bargnani, having returned to the role of backup big man after a stint as the team's starting small forward, may not be making obvious strides but Triano insists he's doing enough.

"(Monday) night, we had him in a couple of situations where I thought he did a nice job taking the ball to the basket and driving and sharing the basketball offensively. I thought (Monday) night he made a couple of good steps forward as far as what we're looking for.

"It's not just him. We want Chris Bosh to play a little bit better and we want Jermaine O'Neal to play a little bit better and I could go through the list. That's our job as coaches, to increase their play and Andrea's in the same boat."

Comunque secondo me a Bargnani è il carattere che lo frega, basta guardarlo durante le sue partite sembra uno che sta sulle nuvole, ho paura che non è quasi mai concentrato. Sono due anni che gioca così tranne qualche exploit, sicuramente non è stata un'idea giusta quella di Toronto di prendere il mago quando hai in quel ruolo la tua stella. Non puoi sfruttare mai Bargnani al 100% e poi bisogna dire che i Raptors da quando li vedo sono una squadra senza gioco, anzi solo un tipo..passa la palla a Bosh, per Bargnani non ci sono quasi mai stati schemi offensivi tranne il blocco per il play. Io vorrei vedere Andrea in una squadra dove può giocare come Ala forte sempre e poi lo voglio giudicare al 100%. Io da italiano spero possa trovare una squadra che creda in lui, dato che i raps l'hanno sempre impiegato fuori ruolo o solo poche volte come ala forte. Voi che ne dite?

In pratica ha detto che visto che il tiro al momento non và Andrea deve essere più agressivo per avere tiri più facili e conquistarsi falli, poi ha spiegato che Andrea è un giocatore che per rendere ha bisogno di entrare in ritmo e che ha bisogno di toccare la palla spesso ma che non è necessario che appena entra in campo si metta a tiarare subito; secondo Triano l'ideale per Andrea sarebbe conquistarsi dei liberi per prendere confidenza con la partita e con il tiro.

Ha anche detto che Lunedì in qualche occasione è stato bravo nell'andare a canestro, nel muovere la palla e nel prendersi dei fischi a favore e che ha fatto qualche passo avanti verso il tipo di giocatore che vogliono vedere (te credo in confronto a Domenica sembrava Larry Bird ).

In chiusura dice che non è solo Andrea che deve crescere ma anche Bosh e O'Neal devono migliorare il loro rendimento e che il lavoro di un coach è far migliorare tutti (solita frase di circostanza).


In pratica dice le stesse cose che diciamo noi, visto che è in un momento in cui non la mette neanche in una vasca da bagno la deve piantare di martoriare i ferri e deve tirar fuori l'agressività, son poi convinto (così come Triano) che una volta che riesce a tirarla fuori stà benedetta cattiveria anche i tiri torneranno ad entrare con più regolarità.

Grazie per la traduzione,sono d'accordo con triano andrea deve trovare piu ritmo nei suoi tiri e siccome in questo ultimo periodo la palla non vuole entrare nel canestro...almeno si guadagna i liberi.
ma quella famosa trade di chicago non si sa nulla? per andrea sarebbe il massimo secondo me partirebbe in quintetto e giocherebbe tantissimi minuti

Sull'argomento trade io ce lo vedrei veramente bene a Memphis,squadra molto in crescita carente nel ruolo di 4 mi pare
