In the TORONTO SUN, Steve Buffery writes, “Raptors forward Jorge Garbajosa, who already has missed six games this season, will travel to Baltimore tomorrow to consult with a specialist concerning his injured leg and ankle, prompting speculation that his season is over. Associated Press, citing Spanish media sources, reported yesterday said that the second-year Raptors forward has elected to have surgery on his ankle. That report prompted the Raptors to issue a release which stated that 'future treatment and therapy options remain undetermined at this point.'”

(November 26, 2007) - The Toronto Raptors medical staff has determined that Jorge Garbajosa requires further surgery on his left leg and ankle.

Garbajosa also met with Dr. Mark Myerson in Baltimore today for a consultation. We are awaiting Dr. Myerson's written report.

No surgery date has been determined and no timing has been established for a return to basketball activity.

Garbajosa will remain on the Inactive List indefinitely.
