E' un commento all'articolo su NBA.com riguardo alla ovvia nomina di Pop a COY.

"Popovich has three of the games best players on his roster. And he still manages to coach them into losses most post seasons. There are SO many other coaches who accomplish more with SO much less talent. So what if the Spurs have won a few rings…with that much talent they SHOULD have won a LOT more. Popovich shouldn’t be rewarded, he should be fired for how many times the Spurs, with all the talent in the world, have fallen short. A better coach would have won six rings with this team."

Per i profani: "Pop ha in roster 3 dei migliori giocatori di basket nella lega. Avrebbe dovuto vincere almeno 6 anelli e invece troppe volte perde nei playoffs. Dovrebbe essere licenziato per tutte le volte che gli Spurs non ce l'hanno fatta!"

ugh that argument is meaningless.

it's not a lifetime achievement award; it's an award based on the regular season. the spurs achieved what no other team could duplicate: they got to 60+ wins and not a single outstanding player stood out. if you really want to talk about disappointments i think that person should look at mark jackson. the warriors have one of the top offensive cores in the league, and they've improved defensively as well, and yet they still couldn't do any better than a 6th seed. having said all that, how a team does in the RS isn't always an indication of how it will do in the postseason. sure the spurs have incredible depth, but once the POs start most opposing teams will be relying heavily on their starters anyway kind of negating any advantage the spurs had in the regular season.

oh well i've never been a big fan of the spurs and this season didn't really change my mind. last season i got locked up by the bulls because they were so easy to root for. i'm not so passionate this time around but definitely excited by the playoffs, so many exciting matchups i can't wait.

Brutta partita a livello di esecuzione, ottima per scelte. Se fa nuovamente una difesa come quella dell'ultima azione del primo tempo Popovich gli farà fare solo garbage per tutti i PO.

Molto nervoso, tutte e due le guardie con una virgola. Ci attendiamo una prova d'orgoglio in gara 2. Ottima vittoria, molto sudata. Siamo abituati a vedere girare bene gli Spurs, ma stasera molta fatica... Per fortuna i Big3 sono qui!!!

Marco quando le partite salgono di livello e intensità agonistica spesso si spaurisce e sparisce, non è la prima volta purtroppo( vedi seconda fase degli Europei) , speriamo in un pronto riscatto.

ha giocato male..anzi diciamo un po troppo timoroso e non va bene..
anche se il suo minutaggio dipenderà non solo dalle sue prestazioni ma anche dall'avversario..
se giochi contro una squadra che ha in guardia e ala piccola 2 muscolari come carter e marion piu' facile che i minuti siano di Leonard e green..
certo se inizia a sbombolare sarebbe meglio

Conta solo il risultato per quanto mi riguarda. Ovvio se marco piazza una doppia cifra e si vince meglio, ma va bene anche pochi minuti se si vince :p
