I don't know if I agree with you. In professional sport, certain mechanics are completely personal (think for example about kevin martin, a really good shooter) and the confidence is pretty much the most important ingredient to be a succesful basketball player. Marco lost his confidence during the season, because he's stubborn and proud and doesnt like to be a toy soldier... and the shooting mechanic is one of the culprit of this loss of confidence. You have to understand that after years of training with a certain technique, it's really hard to change it... and there's no reason to change it when it's effective. he needs to score, not to be a model for young players....

You are right, if he change his mechanic maybe he can be more consistent, but consistent at what fg%? 38? that's not enough in nba for a spot up shooter.

One concern I had when I first heard of his trade was how he was going to do alongside CP. Obviously CP was going to be handling the ball the majority of the time, doing what he does best which is creating opportunities for others. That basically left Marco as a shooter and perhaps it is a reason why he did poorly prior to the AS break. We seem to agree Marco's best role is as a scorer, not a shooter. His confidence is on the rise now, and that may be (as you say) because Paul is out of the line-up, which may improve both aspects of his game.

Anche io ho pensato alla stessa soluzione proposta da Redden, l'altra possibilità (assai improbabile) sarebbe quella di giocare alcuni scampoli di partita con un solo lungo... si potrebbe attuare ad esempio quando riposano i 2 lunghi titolari visto che, a parte Landry, gli altri sembrano esser usciti dalle rotazioni.

Monty dovrebbe ridurre i minuti di Green e lasciare la rotazione delle guardie a tre uomini. Problema: Monty ama Green (sportivamente parlando) dunque temo che Beli vedrà un po' ridotto il suo minutaggio.
P.S. Il fatto che JJ giochi da guardia assieme ad un playmaker sembra sia scritto sul contratto altrimenti non capisco il suo impiego (deleterio) in quella posizione, vedi anche l'anno scorso a Toronto

Evans è fuori da un mese circa e non tornerà prima di un altro paio di settimane, e ci sono possibilità che la sua stagione sia finita.
