Fenomeno Ricky... nel fantabasket non ho potuto fare a meno di schiacciare "move to bottom" e farlo sparire dalla lista dei papabili...
Per la trade: mi aspetto buone (non ottime) cose da Mark Blount, giocherà parecchio al posto di Shaq (che, come tutti sappiamo, fino al suo compleanno diciamo che ingrana sì e no...) e può fare buone cose sugli scarichi di Wade... sicuramente un buon lungo da rotazione (per una squadra come Miami), anche per non far fare gli straordinari ad sempreverde Alonzo...
Per Walker un anno di divertimento, ma non in campo, bensì con il nonnismo ai giovincelli di Minnesota... Solo quello, e qualche tiro a caso quando non sa che fare...

Minnesota Timberwolves e Juwan Howard hanno rescisso consensualmente il contratto
Che è anche giusto, howard a minnesota era assolutamente inutile, se non dannoso visto che sarebbe finito a toglier minuti ai giovani che i wolves devono far crescere. Da qualche altra parte potrà anche provar a dir la sua con un po' di minuti dalla panchina.

Penso proprio che adesso cercherà spazio in una contender (Dallas? Phoenix? Chicago?) per tentare di concludere con un anello facendo lo specialista della "spazzatura della partita". Vedo Dallas come molto papabile, se cercavano PJ Brown possono prendere anche Howard...

La notizia non è ancora ufficiale, ma a confermare l'imminenza dell'operazione ci sono le dichiarazioni rialsciata all'Akron Beacon Journal dall'agente del giocatore, Marc Cornstein. Per Sasha Pavlovic sarebbe pronto un contratto triennale a circa 4-4.5 milioni di dollari all'anno con i Cavs.
Secondo il suo agente il tiratore serbo sarebbe tirato a lucido e pronto già per l'esordio della stagione dei Cavaliers. Ora in Ohio non rimane che risolvere l'ultima grana rimasta, quella della firma di Anderson Varejao.
Sembra invece destinato a giocare per i Dallas Mavericks Juwan Howard. Il lungo, appena liberato dai T'Wolves, avrebbe scelto i texani per avere così la possibilità di giocare per il titolo. La firma dovrebbe arrivare a giorni.
Infine secondo l'Orlando Sentinel il coach dei Magic, Stan Van Gundy, avrebbe messo gli occhi sui un suo ex giocatore, il pivot Michael Doleac ora a Minnesota, per completare un reparto lunghi orfano di Battie. La prima scelta era Juwan Howard, ma l'operazione è apparsa subito difficoltosa"

Eggià, e RC Buford ha già dichiarato che questo spazio salariale gli permetterà di prendere un altra "stella" da aggiungere, e non credo farà molta fatica a trovare gente disposta a giocare con Duncan.

The Pistons traded center Nazr Mohammed to Charlotte on Friday and also waived forward Ronald Dupree.
The Pistons acquired center Primoz Brezec and forward Walter Herrmann in exchange for Mohammed, who appeared in every game this season except for Wednesday in Houston.

“We are pleased to welcome Primoz and Walter to the Pistons organization and we feel they will help add depth to our front court positions,” Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said. “We appreciate hard work and professionalism that Nazr and Ronald both displayed during their time here in Detroit and we wish both of them well.”
Mohammed averaged 3.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11.1 minutes a game this season, while Dupree was on the inactive list for all but two games this year.
The 7-1 Brezec started 18 of 20 games for Charlotte this season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.2 rebounds. Hermann averaged 4.0 points and 2.1 rebounds in 17 games off the bench.

herrmann mi sembra proprio un eccellente acquisto bel colpo di detroit e non sottovaluterei neanche brezec che in una squadra forte come i pistons il suo apporto lo può dare

Quoto.. Walterone era un idolo nelle notti di mezza primavera pre-PlayOff..Per me può fare bene!L'anno scorso aveva iniziato malissimo poi era uscito alla grande..Quest'anno ha iniziato se possibile ancora peggio.. Concluderà alla grande??
Brezec non l'ho mai apprezzato come giocatore..Grosso,grande,brutto..Non so cosa possa dare e cmq non credo avrà un minutaggio apprezzabile!
