ragazzi c'è un video bellissimo sul sito degli hornets dove filmano gli allenamenti anche di marco...è impressionante come si alleni sugli stessi tiri che gli capitano anche in partita,uguali uguali..
lo scarico per la bomba,l'uscita al ricciolo e il tiro immediato..mamma mia che livello che hanno di là,attenti a tutti i particolari.
praticamente sembra si concentrino sui punti forti di marco,e degli altri,piuttosto che migliorare i punti deboli;probabilmente in preseason sarebbe il contrario in questo momento cruciale meglio soffermarsi sulle sicurezza.

p.s. alcune parole le dice in italiano,il suo coach,tanto per stimolarlo..che spettacolo!

I found the article as a whole a little silly (stupid). I know MT was the home town boy so you can't disappoint a lot of fans, but whatever the reason MT is gone and Beli is in so bashing a little on your starting sg is not a very smart thing to do.
P.s most of the so called bad performances by Marco are due to a very bad use of him so the analisys is quite wrong imo.

I agree with your thoughts entirely. If this was a blog, that's one thing; this is his opinion, which he's entitled to. But to put this out there as news about the Hornets is wrong. And yes, the past games that he refers to were because of Monty's usage of him, not because of inconsistency.

that's some bullshit. the inconsistency is an issue for every player in every nba roster, even superstars. how many time lbj shoot 20/30 and the next time 3/15? many, i can remember chris bosh making 0 shots in a entire match, i can remember cp3 in the last match go 0/9, ora melo 2/12... the only difference is: marco's shooting bad? bench him, cut his confidence, make him earn every minute and then bench him for a silly mistake. the usage rate of marco in the nola roster is one of the smallest (18.2 if i remember correctly), when he shoots well the teammates stop to look for his shot because he has accomplished his duty, open up space for the stars of the team, and keep his defender on him. no-one wants him to score more, or take more shots. no-one is interested to help him establish his reputation in the league....

is that a mistake? I think so, but not because i'm marco's fan, but because he's not one of college scrubs who's fated to be a roleplayer, he came in nba as a young but experienced professional in europe, a guy who proved himself as a potential very good player. I think that potential is still there, they need to give him some plays, to make him earn is position in the nba, and the team will be better because of it.

and, about the pathetic basketball fans who still think that PPG is a important stat in the league, please, start to turn on you brains and watch a little closer the basketball games. no way kevin martin or monta ellis or anyone twice as good as MT5 are even close to a player like manu ginobili or ray allen, who avarages barely 18ppg.

Leggo in giro che i tifosi degli Hornets accusano Marco di essere uno "streaky shooter"...

Nonostante dei periodi di slump però, attualmente il nostro tira da tre col 41% (111 bombe messe a segno in stagione).

Pochi meglio di lui quest'anno.

il problema è che molti non ammetteranno mai che si erano sbagliati su beli..
allora belinelli viene scambiato per wright,quindi per nulla...considerato un giocatore che poteva uscire dalla panca e dare un 40% da 3 e nient'altro..a occhio e croce visto il thornton della passata stagione,il veterano green diciamo 10 minuti con 4-5 punti o un paio di triple.
ora come è successo,CASUALMENTE,in tutte le 3 esperienze in 3 franchigie diverse..marco ha impressionato alla grande all'inizio,negli allenamenti dove si vede che mano che ha...
se ricordate lo disse nelson ai warriors che era rimasto impressionato..poi i litigi con mullin e l'alcool gli fecero cambiare idea..
colangelo lo indico' come possibile MIP ma triano decise di puntate su brufolo bill e dimenticarselo dopo l'infortunio..

marco alla sua prima stagione da protagonista viaggia a 10,3 in una squadra ultradifensiva,tira bene da 3 e dal campo visto il suo range (43%).
troppo difficile sarebbe dire:"beh bravo hai nettamente fatto di piu' di quello che si pensava..." ...meglio rompergli le palle accusandolo magari di non metterne 15 a sera col 50% da 3 forse....
farei orecchie da mercante mi sembrano commenti di gente che aveva nettamente toppato i giudizi

da quanto letto su real gm monty ha detto che sta cercando di essere più paziente con marco, ciò implicherebbe un aumento di minuti?
