"Toronto Raptors

The Raptors overachieved last season thanks to the no-nonsense motivations of Sam Mitchell. But this year, the rest of the league will catch up and Toronto will be hard-pressed to duplicate their most recent success.
The problem is that this team is too soft and too perimeter-oriented. This definition includes Andrea Bargnani, Jorge Garbajosa, and their only significant new-comer, Jason Kapono. Great shooters all, but defenseless and made of straw.
T.J. Ford is quick, weak, and shot-happy. Jose Calderon is much better in every respect, except for his slightly inferior jets, and should get the starter's minutes, but the Raptors have too much money invested in Ford for this to happen.
Anthony Parker is the unsung star of this squad. He plays energetic defense and can create his own shot. Indeed, the Raps would be better off if Parker had his number called more often. Behind Parker is Carlos Delfino, a chronic mistake-player.
Chris Bosh is a devastating baseline scorer who can't guard his own shadow and ranks among the most overrated players in the league. Kapono can shoot the lights out, but handles and defends like he's playing in the dark. Joey Graham is a powerhouse athlete who can't seem to find his niche. Rasho Nesterovic can set sturdy screens and hit an occasional jump hook.
There's nary a post-up player on the roster and Parker, Graham, and Nesterovic are the only tough guys.
Teams like the Raptors who live or die by the jump shot eventually fall by the wayside in April."

mha mi sembrano un mucchio di boiate...è vero che la squadra è perimetrale però bosh non mi risulta che giochi fuori dalla linea dei 3 punti e la gran parte delle palle vanno a lui...bargnani non sarà mai duncan in post basso e in difesa ma nemmeno uno spaventapasseri...in post alto non vedo che cosa gli si possa imputare, TJ e Calderon sono i due play che meglio si integrano nella lega...garba sa fare tutto, parker anche, l'unico mio dubbio è kapono, si gran tiratore ma non mi sembra l'uomo adatto...poco difensore e rimbalzista...poi speriamo di essere smentiti
