Hey Chris,

I had a question that was roaming in my head for a while now. And just before i ask the question, I in no way am doubting your skills or potential, I feel you will become a great player in the league that does what it takes to get rings.

Before your era with the raptors, we also had two great young stars: T-Mac and Vince. After a while, T-Mac decided he wanted to lead his own team and be the main man, and left.

Now my question, what would you do if Bargnani suddenly becomes the teams #1 scoring option? I would HATE to see you leave because your the type of guys that is great on and off the court, and you have tremendous leadership skills. Knowing you and your personality, I would think you wouldn't mind as long as the team is winning, but since this is an 'Ask Chris' forum, please let me know your incite

We're not a team that has scoring options. Being the first scoring option

really doesn't matter. Sometimes we run plays for me, sometimes we run plays for

Andrea. Whoever is doing well on a particular night will have plays run for them.

Risposta diplomatica, ma in definitiva la sola possibile in ambito così pubblico.
A parte che con TJ in campo lui ha una certa garanzia (è inutile stare a spiegare perchè, comunque non una sicurezza) di rimanere la prima opzione offensiva anche se non lo dice, ma se avesse qualcosa da ridire andrebbe a rompere le balle ai compagni di squadra, all'allenatore, poi alla dirigenza, ed infine se lo dicesse alla stampa o su un forum al limite, vorrebbe dire che la situazione è già abbastanza compromessa.

Ritengo che Bosh riconosca il potenziale di Andrea perchè, pur essendo una risposta di certo diplomatica, avrebbe almeno fatto un piccolo accenno ad altri compagni, in primis Ford.
Credo che abbia capito che per vincere qualcosa con Toronto sia necessario mettere da parte l'ego tipico delle superstar per essere un vero leader che ha come obiettivo unico quello di far vincere la sua squadra e il raggiungimento dello stesso non può in alcun modo prescindere da una crescita importante del mago, anche come numero di tiri.
