I'm not trying to prove you wrong though. SA has been absolute machine-like on offense and I don't see anyone being able to stop them until they get what they want.

They'll miss his 3pters and shot-blocking obviously, but Ellis and Lillard have shown you can penetrate the Spurs' defense and score. If Westbrook can draw defenders to the rim, Durant, Butler and Fisher will get some open shots. No one probably gives a second thought about Collison and Adams, but I think their impact can offset the depth of the Spurs' bench. Sure they no longer have Harden but Jackson has killed it against the Spurs in the RS. I think it would be a great move if Brooks inserts Jackson in the starting line up and makes Durant defend Duncan.Pronto ad essere smentito, naturalmente.

Of course Oklahoma is competitive against every team, with that two phenomenical players, but I think that to win the ring is necessary to have a real point guard and a centre more tecnical and versatility than Perkins is.

If you think about it, you could switch out KD and Westbrook for LBJ and Wade (hell, even Ibaka plays similar to Bosh) and it's uncanny how similar OKC is to Miami. Miami has shown twice over that you don't need true position players so long as you've got two of the best players in the league.
I agree Westbrook has his limitations as PG, but would you agree he outplayed Chris Paul in the semis?

I never meant to make a direct comparison between OKC and the Heat, just that neither uses a conventional line-up: the Heat plays without a true center and the Thunder without a PG.
I disagree that the Thunder do not play as a team. I remember when Marco and the Warriors played against Durant in Oklahoma City, both were in their 2nd year, coached at that time by Carlesimo. Of course they were a terrible team then, but they have grown and gotten better and more importantly the roster has remained intact, a very rare thing for an NBA team nowadays. They are still a young team and yet, so old in their wisdom.
Like you, I have enjoyed watching the Spurs this year. They are an amazing team to watch and Pop has an inherent understanding of each of his players. His greatness comes from not so much fitting the players into a rigid system, but adapting to what he has at hand.magician3 ha scritto:Kd and Wes can outplay the big three of San Antonio in atleticism and youth, but the sistem and the rest of roster of texans can provide to that lack.

Yes! I cannot wait to see which team comes out on top in this WCF. It's a wonderful match-up, a clash of two very different systems, different styles of coaching and types of athleticism.

a me questo scambio in inglese fra Magician3 e Sundance è piaciuto e l'ho trovato molto centrato nelle questioni e nelle risposte, grazie Sundance to be come back, i like your expertise.
i've got a question for you: "how you think Beli can be efficient/helpful in this series against OKC players?"
(ho domandato a Sundance, ma lo domando ovviamente a tutti, in che modo Beli possa essere d'impatto e utile nella serie"
