Kidd come tiratore da 3 è migliorato molto nel corso della carriera, detto questo è ovvio che non sarà mai ricordato come un tiratore. Resta il fatto che in NBA i dati sul tiro da 3, vista la distanza, vanno considerati in modo un po' diverso. Il 40% in carriera è un dato ottimo, non solo buono, soprattutto per uno che non fa lo specialista che tira solo sugli scarichi. Altrimenti dovremmo concludere che il miglior tiratore ogni epoca (quale IMO è Ray Allen) è al massimo buono, visto che al 40% nemmeno ci arriva. Comunque non capisco dove si vuole arrivare, Kidd è uno che tira quasi per forza, i motivi per cui è uno dei più grandi di sempre sono ben altri. E Belinelli gioca in un altro ruolo.

e infatti questa era la conclusione a cui ero arrivato...perderanno stojakovic e stevenson è una segaccia...per questo la migliore squadra possibile per me sarebbe beli...e per dallas probabilmente un'opzione tra le migliori calcolando il budget.
ovviamente in quella squadra piu' di 20 minuti non li giocherà mai visto che c'è terry ma sarebbe come forza la migliore soluzione possibile,se si puntasse a giocare il piu' possibile chiaramente dallas non sarebbe l'ideale

...Stavo guardando poc'anzi l'1/17 da tre dei Thunder nella partita di ieri notte... Stando al metro di giudizio di qualche stupidotto in malafede cosa bisognerebbe fare allora? Impalare tutta la squadra degna di una percentuale del miglior DeRozan?
Percentuali cattive replicate, per altro, in molti altri casi da altri ottimi giocatori o squadre in altre occasioni di questi playoff...
Questo per dire una volta di più che il buon Belinelli, complessivamente, nel corso della stagione non è stato malvagio, anzi... ma sono le solite cose che diciamo da un po' di tempo, pur essendo di parte, ma cercando di essere comunque obiettivi!

Ciò che invece interessa sapere è, lock out a parte, la fine che farà Belinelli nella prossima stagione: resta o cambia squadra? Novità poi sulla situazione amministrativa degli Hornets?

+ Glue-type shooting guard who is good ball handler for size and makes 3-pointers.

+ Can play point in a pinch, but struggles to create offense. Very poor rebounder.

+ Below-average defensive player, but has quick hands. Good at drawing fouls.

Belinelli fell out of favor even though he wasn't playing that badly; Toronto just had players who did the same types of things better. Although not an elite athlete, Belinelli is pretty clever offensively and draws a lot of fouls for a player who shoots so many 3s. To really be an effective offensive player, however, he has to convert more inside the arc; he shot just 41.7 percent on 2s, which is unacceptable.

I also wonder whether the Hornets wouldn't be better off starting Belinelli and bringing Marcus Thornton off the bench. Setting up the rotation with Belinelli starting allows Thornton to use his shot-creating energies with the second unit, where they'll be desperately needed -- New Orleans projects to have the league's worst bench.

I'm guessing many were disappointed Marco couldn't produce better numbers playing alongside CP, and flat unhappy because Marcus is a much more dynamic player. But the fact remains, Marco's a better fit in Monty's offense. And the Hornets have to be happy that Marco improved on most all projected offensive stats, including 2pt FG% at 45.8. So I can't understand how he is the "most disappointing player" when you could probably point to all the Hornets wing players (although maybe disappointing he didn't get to the line as much as last year).
