Darko Milicic, tra i migliori in campo per la Serbia con 17 punti, 6 rimbalzi e 3 stoppate, si presenta ai microfoni dei giornalisti connazionali rilasciando ( in lingua madre, qui tradotte in inglese ) le seguenti dichiarazioni:

Lo lascio qui perchè anche se non parla della nostra Nazionale si tira in ballo l'Europeo ed un nostro arbitro.Beh io credo che una bella squalifica non ci starebbe male come questa intervista ha rafforzato in me il parere che Milicic sia un cretino e anche un po' fallito come giocatore
